Can I use this to get into schools?
Yes — it's one of the most common uses. We put together a free kit with the principal pitch email, a QR poster template for school noticeboards, and how to price a paid reading.

I'm not sure I can afford this. Where do I start?
There's a ladder, and the first rung is free.
$0 — Free Character Preview. Tell us about your main character and we'll animate a short preview of them. It lands in your inbox within 24 hours. No cost, no call, no commitment. Most authors start here.
$697 — Social Spark. A 15–20 second animated scene built from your existing illustrations, ready to post. 7–10 days.
Upward from there. Every dollar you spend on Social Spark credits fully toward any larger package within 60 days — so starting small costs you nothing if you later go bigger.
You never have to jump straight to a full film. Most authors don't.
How do you actually make the animation?
A modern production pipeline, directed by humans at every stage.
We start from your existing illustrations and your manuscript. A director maps the story into shots. Characters are built and rigged so they move consistently. Scenes are lit, animated, scored, and edited. Modern tooling — including AI-assisted steps — speeds up parts of that process, which is a large reason we can work at these prices. Every creative decision is made by a person, and every frame is reviewed before it reaches you.
You own 100% of it, forever. We claim no royalties, no licensing fees, no rights of any kind. The moment you receive your files, everything is yours.
Full detail: our IP & AI Use policy.
What results can I actually expect?
We won't promise you book sales. Nobody honestly can — that depends on your book, your audience, and what you do with the asset.
What we can tell you is what authors actually use these films for:
- School and library visits. A short animated clip turns a cold email to a principal into a booked reading far more often than a flyer does.
- Launch events. Played on a screen at a book launch, it stops people walking past.
- School programme adoption. One author's character was built into a Caribbean primary school's summer camp programme.
- Social content that keeps working. One asset becomes months of posts, long after launch week.
If someone guarantees you sales, be careful. We'd rather tell you the truth and let you decide.
Do I keep the rights to my characters and animation?
Yes — 100%. Every package includes full IP ownership in writing. You own every frame, every character design, every soundtrack stem. Forever. We never claim creative or commercial rights. You can license to streamers, schools, or publishers without any approval from us.
How long does an animated film take to produce?
Depending on the package: The Spark is 2–3 weeks, The Story is 3–5 weeks, The Universe is 6–10 weeks, and The Legacy (a full 6-episode series) is 12–16 weeks. Our fastest delivery on record is 10 days for a 5-minute Universe build — we don't recommend that pace, but it's possible.
What's the price range?
Packages start at $4,997 (The Spark) and go up to $75,000+ (The Legacy). Each price is "from" — the final quote depends on character count, episode length, and additional deliverables. See
the full packages page for detail.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Every package above $4,997 is split into 2–3 phased payments tied to delivery milestones. You fund the build as it ships — never everything upfront.
Do I need to hand over creative control?
No. We're an author-first studio. Your story, your characters, your voice. We bring the production craft. Every milestone — character design, voice direction, music — is shown to you for approval before we move forward.
Where is the studio based?
Kingston, Jamaica 🇯🇲. We work with authors worldwide remotely. Our team is Caribbean-rooted, globally trained.
What kind of authors do you work with?
Children's book authors who are serious about building a cinematic universe around their book. We work with self-published authors, hybrid-published authors, and publishing houses. We've been used in Caribbean educational storytelling contexts and adopted by school systems. We're selective — 3 cinematic projects per quarter.
Can I license my animation to schools?
Yes. The Story, Universe, and Legacy packages all include school-licensing rights, and the Universe and Legacy include a dedicated educational cut. We've worked directly with Caribbean school systems and can advise on licensing structure.
Do I need a finished manuscript before booking?
Yes. We work from a complete, edited manuscript. If you're still drafting, we recommend finalizing the story first — then booking us when you're ready to launch. (We can recommend editors if needed.)
What's included in a Free Story Chat?
30 minutes — free, no pressure. We listen to your book, ask about your launch goals, and tell you honestly which package fits (or whether we're the right studio for you at all). If we're not a fit, we'll tell you. If we are, we send a proposal within 48 hours.
Can my book become a Netflix series?
That's exactly what The Legacy package is built for. It includes a full show bible, style guide, Netflix-ready pitch deck, and streamer outreach support. We can't guarantee a Netflix deal — no studio can — but we can build the cinematic universe and pitch package that makes it possible.
